Well done to Chris for passing first time with Cambridgeshire Driving School and thanks for the review!

" I started learning how to drive under time pressure as I was going away travelling at the end of September 2013 for eleven months. With Mike teaching me I went from no driving experience at all to passing first time with three minors in a couple of months.
During the time I was working in London and Mike was flexible for us to have our lessons early in the morning or later in the evenings. The lessons were well structured and we methodically covered all learning areas, with Mike going through topics comprehensively and clearly. Mike has the patience of a saint, being firm if I made a mistake (which I made a lot of!) but never getting angry or raising his voice, which kept the learning environment pleasant at all times.

All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor, thanks Mike."

Thanks again Mike!
Chris

Recommended driving instructors in Cambridge

Wanting to learn how to drive in Cambridge? So many instructors to choose from and can’t tell the good from the bad?

Here is a quick guide to help!

First of all, each driving instructor is given a grade between 4 and 6. The best instructors are graded 6 and only around 7% ever achieve this so don’t be afraid to ask. You want to make sure you will be learning with somebody you get along with, so instructors who offer the first few lessons or an assessment lesson with no commitment to big money is a must, if they’re wanting a block payment on the first lesson, question why.
Look out for pupil reviews on their website or the internet or ask to arrange to speak to a previous pupil if possible.
Finally, avoid large national driving schools as a lot of bad instructors hide behind a big name (not all though). You also will have no idea who’s going to turn up at your door. Driving instructors prefer to run independently as there are fewer overheads, to be able to do this you need to be good at what you do.

Hope this helps you find the perfect instructor! If you would like to discuss more of your requirements for learning to drive why not contact Cambridgeshire Driving School.
